Rien Fraanje

Rien Fraanje is sinds 1 maart 2017 secretaris-directeur van de Raad voor het Openbaar Bestuur. Daarvoor was hij directeur van het Wetenschappelijk Instituut voor het CDA. Eerder werkte hij als journalist bij de Staatscourant en consultant bij Berenschot. Van 2009 tot en met 2013 was hij al als stafmedewerker verbonden aan de Raad voor het openbaar en de Raad voor de financiële verhoudingen. In die tijd schreef hij voor de Raad onder meer Vertrouwen op democratie (2010) en Loslaten in vertrouwen (2012).
