Hoe kunnen we technologie op een ethisch verantwoorde wijze inzetten zodat onze digitale grondrechten zijn beschermd? Deze vraag staat centraal in het vandaag verschenen vijfde inzicht van de Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) Digitalisering doet ertoe.
Wouter Welling gaat in gesprek met Touria Meliani, wethouder Digitale Stad van Amsterdam, over de vraag of de gemeente zich bezighoudt met digitale grondrechten. Met Hans de Zwart, directeur bij Bits of Freedom, spreekt hij over de ethische aspecten die het gebruik van technologie met zich meebrengt. Tot slot gaat Welling in gesprek met Jeroen van den Hoven, professor Ethics and Technology bij de TU Delft, over een model dat hij heeft ontwikkeld, waarin verschillende ethische waarden worden toegepast in de ontwikkeling van technologie.
