Arjen Boin, hoogleraar Publieke Instituties en Governance aan Universiteit Leiden, gaat in dit minicollege in op het coronavirus als grensoverschrijdende crisis, of transboundary crisis in de internationale literatuur.
De Vereniging voor Bestuurskunde (VB) brengt een serie video’s uit, genaamd Special State of Science. In deze video’s gaan hoogleraren bestuurskunde in op de bestuurskundige lessen die we kunnen trekken uit de Covid-19-crisis.
Boin verkent waarom het moeilijk is om een transboundary crisis te managen. De omvang van deze crisis is ongekend en stelt niet alleen bestuurders, maar ook bestuurskundigen voor nieuwe uitdagingen. Hoe kunnen we met deze uitdagingen omgaan?
