Vier grote gemeenten willen duidelijker communiceren
Direct Duidelijk-Deal
De wethouders Linda Voortman (Utrecht), Rachid Guernaoui (Den Haag) en Touria Meliani (Amsterdam) ondertekenden deze week in het Stadskantoor van Utrecht de Direct Duidelijk-deal: een initiatief van het ministerie van BZK en de Taalunie. Wethouder Judith Bokhove (Rotterdam) tekent volgende week.
Voor veel mensen is het taalgebruik van de overheid te moeilijk. Om hier wat aan te doen initieerden het Ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken en Koninkrijksrelaties en de Nederlandse Taalunie eind 2018 de campagne Direct Duidelijk. Steeds meer overheidsorganisaties sluiten zich aan bij het doel van deze campagne: ervoor zorgen dat iedereen begrijpt wat er in de tekst wordt bedoeld; begrijpt wat een tekst betekent voor hun eigen situatie, en wat ze dus kunnen of moeten doen; de tekst prettig leesbaar vindt.
